Commissioners Court Approves FY 2023 Budget and Tax Rate
The Smith County Commissioners Court voted to approve the Fiscal Year 2023 Budget and Tax Rate on Tuesday, September 6, after it held its final public hearing on both the budget and tax rate.
Smith County Road Bond Passes
The $45 million Smith County Road Bond passed with 62.4 percent of the vote Tuesday, November 2, 2021, according to complete but unofficial voting totals.
Commissioners Court Adopts Redistricting Plan
The Smith County Commissioners Court voted unanimously Tuesday, November 2, to adopt the final redistricting plan that establishes new boundaries for the County Commissioners Court Precinct lines based on the 2020 Census data.
Smith County Certified as StormReady County
