Retiring Assistant District Attorney Wins Award
The Smith County Criminal District Attorney’s Office is proud to announce the retirement of Mike West after 21 years. West, who served as the Appellate Chief over the Appeals Division for much of his career, retired September 30 and received the 2025 Kepple Award.
